Something like this only happens to Dumb Girls

Background information: We have a toll free line in our office that is automatically directed to the main line. There is no way to dial a certain extension when calling the 800 number. Therefore, when someone like my mother calls that line, I have to catch it before someone else answers it.

*main line rings*

I glance at the caller id, it says FLORIDA with an area code 305. That must be my mother, it usually is when it says that.

Karyn (in a very unprofessional manner): "Hello."

Caller: "Uh, hi. This is so and so from the Associated Press calling about such and such. Is this so and so?"

Karyn (aka-IDIOT!): "No, it is not. Would you like her extension?"

Caller: "Yes, please."
