One Sweet Whirled

One thing that I am confident the devil had a hand in creating is the modern American shopping mall. No other place on earth is there a wealth of enticements all in one centralized location. You start out at a Department store, the Macy's or the Nordstrom where you are presented with an array of shoes and purses in any color or style imaginable. The smell of the leather hypnotizes you into believing that it is okay to spend $200 on a bag or a pair of heels. You try to escape but are then presented with counter upon counter of clean, shiny make-up goodness with smiling associates ready to lavish you with facial moisturizers and eye shadow and lip gloss and powders. If you make it out alive, you are then presented with your specialty stores ranging anywhere from your Gaps and Banana Republics to your J.Crews and H&Ms and LOFTs. You turn to your left and you see a Barnes & Noble with books and coffee and music and books and coffee. You turn to your right and you have your Panda Express and your Cinnabon. You run in the other direction only to find Cheesecake Factory. The mall is your enemy. And you love every minute of it.

Please admire my favorite purchase of the weekend. My two favorite things in the world rolled into one beautiful accessory for my feet.
